The Great Catch By Taste Of Boston

Dinner was fantastic. This was our first time eating here and we will definitely return. My husband and I both had the Fisherman's Platter and let me tell you it was more than enough for one person and if you have a little smaller appetite 2 people could possibly share. The portions were ample and I came home with leftovers. Our server Sue was friendly and quick with drink refills.

I have to say that each time I have been here it gets better and better! The lobster roll…let me just tell you…the bread was perfectly toasted. The lettuce was fresh, and the lobster…wow! The chunks of lobster were so much and so big, some pieces took more than one bite! They definitely don’t skimp on the lobster! It was perfect! Simple, which I appreciate more because I want to taste the lobster, not a bunch of other seasonings and sauces! Our server was amazing! I know what I’m getting next time

The Great Catch recently moved from Land O Lakes to Lutz. I am glad they did. The new location is so much nicer. The Staff and food are great. I haven’t had a bad meal but I recommend the Blacked Basa Sandwich. I can’t wait to try the all you can eat shrimp on Mondays.

I haven't had a bad experience yet!!! I've come twice. I live out of state and stumbled across this restaurant by chance and have talked about to my family and friends. Phenomenal food, friendly staff, quite place to watch sports what more can you ask for? They have daily specials.

My husband saw an ad on FB for, The Great Catch by Taste of Boston, and decided to take us there for lunch. I was a bit apprehensive when I saw the place. A smallish entrance in a not to nice looking strip center. ( never judge a book by its cover. Lesson learned) The atmosphere was nautical themed. Lights down a bit made it very cozy. Several large screen TV’s were playing different channels. Everything looked clean, a bit old fashioned, but very nice. We were seated by a very nice, cheerful waitress named Alayna. The menu’s have seen better days but were easily read. Alayna took our drink request and hurried away. People began arriving, filling booths and tables. I only saw Alayna taking care of the guests. She was very quick attending everyone, yet maintained her cheerful attitude. She returned with our drinks, took our orders and headed away. I will admit, I was taken aback with the prices. Yes, they were a bit high for lunch but we were even happier when our huge pile of food arrived. I ordered clam strips. They were very lightly covered in a thin batter that didn’t disguise the flavor of the clam strips. The meal came with a hefty amount of fries, also lightly coated in a tasty dusting of flavoring. The meal came with coleslaw too. My husband ordered a hamburger…a monster of a burger! A pound of meat, with lettuce, tomatoes and other additions. He couldn’t even fit his mouth over it! We also ordered crab bites which were ok. We ordered French onion soup too. The soup was fantastic! None of that greasy stuff or fake tasting stuff used at other places. The ice tea also tasted like it was old fashioned made with tea and real sugar. We were very happy with our entire meal. The Great Catch by Taste of Boston is a most definite try. We will go back. Yes, the price was high, $70.00 for lunch but we had enough for our dinner tonight. I highly recommend The Great Catch by Taste of Boston.

I have seen so many advertisements on Facebook and just never took the drive. So glad we did and sad we didn't go sooner. Everyone was super nice. The girls were hustling. Our server was Tiffany and she was AMAZING! So kind, very informative and attentive. Kudos to the kitchen! The food was the best I've had in a while. For years we have drove to Crystal River for crab legs but these were actually better! I was shocked. My friend had the the pick 2 with the friend shrimp and haddock with homemade onion rings and coleslaw. She loved it! Keep up the great work, we will be back!!!

Grew up in Massachusetts, bay side. I've been in florida for over 10 years now and this place i just found. It's wicked awesome lol has onion rings in the same style good days in West Bridgewater had and the fried scallops bring me back to living in onset getting fried seafood. This place has earned a customer for years to come.
